RMHC Founding Mission Partner since 1974

From the moment we opened our first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, PA, the entire McDonald’s system (owner/operators, suppliers, employees and customers) has helped us support families with sick children providing stability and vital resources.

McDonald’s support extends from monetary contributions and volunteerism, to cause related marketing promotions and the space to place RMHC Donation Boxes allowing their customers to raise money for our chapter. McDonald’s has helped RMHC positively impact thousands of children and their families in our region, and continues to provide valuable resources and support to help us expand our core programs and services.

Several local owner/operators and McDonald’s corporate employees serve as members of our Board of Directors, as well as offer their services as volunteers for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.

You can also support RMHC in three different ways when you visit your favorite McDonald’s.

• Round-Up for RMHC. When you round up your total, your change comes to your area RMHC and makes a big difference.
• Donate by using the RMHC donation boxes and canisters located at the counter or in the drive thru.
• Enjoy a Happy Meal. Each Happy Meal purchased gives 1 penny to your area RMHC.

Although the McDonald’s system is our largest corporate partner, RMHC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. RMHC relies on the support of the entire community and greatly values donations from the community and other corporate partners.
